What we do here depends on the help we get from our friends. Bring your energy and time and we will put them to good use. And please consider helping us financially if you can. Thank you in advance...

Get involved – volunteer

At St George’s and St John the Baptist we have lots of events through the week and are always looking for new volunteers. No commitment is too big or too small. We need people to make coffee after services, be on the PCC, take photographs, read a lesson during services or help with the many other things. If you would like to become involved and could offer time and any skill or talent, please contact Victoria O’Neill at the Parish Office.

Support our work

We rely on fundraising during the year to pay for our clergy and the mission of the United Benefice.

At St John’s £1.5 million has been spent over the last five years to secure its future and restore the fabric that earned its Grade I listed status in 2015.

We welcome all financial contributions. If you can, please make a donation to either St John the Baptist or St George’s Campden Hill. And if you feel able to sign up for regular giving, that’s our ideal because it helps us to plan ahead.

Fundraising and the charities we support

We raise money for several charities:

  • Glass Door which operates night shelters in west London

  • City Harvest which picks up fresh, unwanted food from shops and delivers it to those who need it

  • Future Hope, a charity that provides education in India

  • Christian Aid initiatives around the world

We also raise funds for specific causes – most recently refugees from Syria and the families of Grenfell Tower.
